Our Mission
Raymond Pace Alexander Scholarship Foundation provides high-achieving graduating young African American males in the Philadelphia area with scholarships to help them defray the costs of their post-secondary education.
ABOUT US
Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Psi Chapter, based in Philadelphia, PA, has long been dedicated to the support of academic scholarships and academic excellence. As such, we have founded the Raymond Pace Alexander Scholarship Foundation, which provides high-achieving graduating young Black males in the Philadelphia area with academic scholarships to help them defray the costs of their post-secondary education. This scholarship serves as an opportunity for us to give back to the community that has given so much to us. In 2019, we awarded the inaugural Raymond Pace Alexander Scholarship to Derrick Dow, an Alumnus of Roman Catholic High School.
To date, we have awarded three scholarships with the goal of awarding many more.
